Kodak has announced the latest iteration of its PULSE Digital Frame. The frame now features social network integration, allowing users to comment on pictures received and connect to pictures on Facebook and Kodak Gallery.

Kodak to Release 7.6″ OLED Digital Picture Frame

Reports are circulating that Kodak has agreed to purchase 7.6″ OLED panels for a new high-end digital picture frame. At this point it’s far to early to speculate on a potential release date or cost, but for Kodak to commit to this type of high-end display indicates that they’re serious about differentiating in a market that’s largely full of also-rans.

Internet-Enabled Digital Picture Frames Will Ultimately Rule the Market

Research and Markets recently published a research report that essentially asserts that the increased use of home servers to manage digital content will cause certain devices, like digital picture frames, to alter the way they work. We’re already seeing a big push from D-Link, Kodak and others to include wireless connections in their frames for the main purpose of connecting to home media servers or online photo sharing services.

Nickelodeon Announces SpongeBob and Dora Npower Digtal Picture Viewers

Picwing Digital Picture Frame and Sharing Service Launched

Picwing, with funding from Y Combinator, launched last week. The Picwing service essentially lets you set up an email address on the site where you, or your approved contributors, can email pictures that will show up on your Picwing digital picture frame, Chumby, PC or embedded in a website.

Review: GiiNii 8″ Ultra-Thin Digital Picture Frame (080DSB01)

GiiNii is relatively new on the digital frame scene, but they’ve already managed distribution with Walmart, Walgreens and other retailers. Their latest frame is an 8” ultra-thin model that is stylish and even looks great from the back. GiiNii has all the basics and adds in goodies like smart sleep mode, speakers, movie playback and an integrated light sensor to adjust brightness based on room conditions.

Windows Live FrameIt Digital Frame Content Service Released in Beta

RedPost Ubuntu-Based 19″ PC/Digital Picture Frame Closer to Release
