Fujifilm has unveiled plans for an entire photography system that includes a digital camera and digital picture frame that can shoot and display images in 3D, without the need for light filtering glasses. The technology was on display at Photokina and Fujifilm claims it will be market ready in 2009.

Kodak is the first to announce an OLED digital picture frame for retail sale. The $999 frame will certainly have the best display of any digital frame in the world. Aside from the amazingly thin design the 7.6″ frame offers pretty much everything else you could want, including Wi-Fi, 2GB of internal memory and a 30,000:1 contrast ratio.

Cagic has released an 8″ digital frame that’s perhaps more about design than function. Before a feature is touted in the press release, they’re sure to note that it’s designed by a “European trained interior stylist.” And while the frame does look great, and it comes in three finishes, it does have some functionality under the hood as well, including dual SD card slots.
