HP Releases 10.4″ df1000 and 3.5″ df300a1 Digital Frames

HP has released two new digital picture frames, the tiny (3.5″) df300a1 and the comparatively giant (10.4″) df1000. They’re both available now for $59 and $219 respectively.
HP df1000
The 10.4″ df1000 features a 4:3 aspect ratio screen with 800×600 pixel resolution. It comes with dual speakers and support for multimedia functions like MP3 audio and video playback. HP has included 512MB of internal memory, along with a multi-card reader and USB support. It retails for $219.
HP df300a1
This tiny 3.5″ frame joins a class of semi-portable frames, as it includes a battery that is good for up to 2 hours of picture playback. Otherwise it features a 320×240 pixel display and a single SD card reader, along with a tiny bit of included memory, good for 45 pictures. The oddly named df300a1 retails for $59.

I purchased the new HP 10.4 digital frame and that it was great at first. The intrenal memory is supppose to hold about 1,000 pictures, I downloaded about 200 and now it won’t even turn on. Needless to say I am returning it. Don’t buy it……
I purchased the HP 10.4 df1000 frame and am very happy with it. I purchased a different brand first and the picture quality was terrible and I returned it and bought the HP. The picture quality is great and well worth the price. It comes with a remote and has some really nice features. I purchased an inexpensive 2GB SD card instead of using the internal memory and am having no problems.
