Kodak has announced the latest iteration of its PULSE Digital Frame. The frame now features social network integration, allowing users to comment on pictures received and connect to pictures on Facebook and Kodak Gallery.

Sony has really created an interesting mash-up here of tech toys. The ICF-CL75iP is a combination unit that features an iPod dock with speakers, digital photo frame, alarm clock and FM radio. Sony as not issued an official press release on the unit yet, but a cached Sony Style page shows it being listed for $150 and coming soon.

We don’t spend a lot of time on this site talking about conceptual designs. There aremany interesting digital picture frame concepts out there, but very few of these features ever come to market. There is something interesting though about this concept from Mintpass. While not for everyone, the 7″ frame does the usual stuff, but it also has dual embedded digital cameras from taking pictures on the fly.

Toshiba is well-known in Europe for their digital frames, but in the US they’ve been quiet, until now. Toshiba has just announced two new digital picture frames for the US market and the good news is, they’re full-featured and look pretty sharp too. The two models are 10″ and 8″ varieties, the latter coming in white or black. Both offer WiFi and access to content via FrameChannel.
Kodak EasyShare S730 with Rechargeable Battery Announced

Kodak has announced their first new digital picture frame in some time. The Kodak EasyShare S730 is a semi-portable frame that’s designed to be used plugged in, or out on its own with an internal rechargeable battery. With 1GB of internal storage, there’s plenty of room for thousands of images to share.

SilverPac has announced a new digital frame at COMPUTEX Taipei that has a plethora of features and is built on Microsoft Windows Embedded 6.0. The SilverFrame features all of Microsoft’s software features like Windows SideShow for helpful gadgets and Windows Live FrameIt for online content consumption. From the hardware side, the digital frame features a 10.1″ touchscreen with 802.11n wireless capability.
ViewSonic TrueView Family of Digital Frames Available Now

ViewSonic announced nine new digital frames at CES and today is bringing the first five to market. The first batch includes their new TrueView family of digital picture frames that are all standard aspect ratio and come in 7″, 8″ and 10.4″ sizes. The other two frames come from ViewSonic’s value line and come in 7″ and 9″ models, starting at $54.99.
Jobo Plano 8″ Digital Picture Frame Announced

Jobo just a few days ago released an ultra-thin 7″ frame and today they’re back announcing the new Plano family of digital picture frames. Starting with an 8″ model (7″ and 10″ versions to follow) the Jobo frame features a 4:3 aspect ratio, 800×600 pixel display and a contrast ratio of 400:1. Frames in this hybrid value-style line will also include a remote control and will start at $99 for the 7″ model.
