The HANNspree SD7021 is a 7″ budget frame that is entirely about being low-cost. You won’t find many features here and the frame cuts costs further by using a low resolution display. But a 7″ frame with a retail of $40 might be appealing enough to some.

HANNspree Releases Value-Oriented 7″ and 8″ Digital Frames

HANNspree has released two new digital picture frames, one 7″ model (SD7021) and one 8″ model (SD80M4MB). They’re both very basic, aiming more for price point than fancy feature set, though the SD80M4MB comes with three interchangeable ceramic faceplates.

Giant International Releases Intouch IT7150 Digital Frame with Wi-Fi and Web TV

ViewSonic Releases Two 8″ Digital Frames with Touch Interface

ViewSonic has released the DPG801BK and DPG807BK digital picture frames. These 8″ frames feature SwifTouch, ViewSonic’s touch-screen technology. This means the frame’s controls are only displayed when needed, and they’re easy to access on the front of the frame. ViewSonic also claims that the buttons are smudge-free, which if true, is a valuable addition.
