Sure it plays slideshows and the like, but it can also monitor up to four TRENDnet Internet video cameras at once with its Wi-Fi connection. The 7″ frame is designed for commercial or home security use and gives owners more options for consuming security feeds than being forced to use a computer.

Aside from security camera monitoring, the TV-M7 acts as a standard photo frame. The 7″ display features an impressive 500:1 contrast ratio. Unfortunately they’ve opted for widescreen, going with an 800×480 resolution. The frame also includes 512MB of internal memory, multi-card reader, USB port, speaker and audio out jack. The wireless connection lets the frame grab content from online sources like Picasa and Flickr. 

The TRENDnet TV-M7 is availabe now with an MSRP of $320.
