HP sd828a1 8″ Wi-Fi Digital Frame Announced

HP has announced their first Wi-Fi enabled digital picture frame at CES, dubbed Smart Wi-Fi Display. In addition to Wi-Fi the HP sd828a1 features support for Internet Radio listening and can show pictures from online sources as well as receive them via MMS.

Samsung Announces New Processors for Digital Picture Frames

Samsung has announced a new series of media processors designed specifically for the digital photo frame market. The S5L2010 series of processors are designed to give frames more power, specifically in the multi-media department, where almost all of them struggle mightily.

Samsung Announces the SPF-85H, SPF-85V, SPF-105P and SPF-105V

Samsung has refreshed their line of digital picture frames, with two 8″ models (SPF-85H, SPF-85V) and two 10.2″ models (SPF-105P, SPF-105V). One of each size comes with wireless, and they each offer a somewhat unique feature set, including things like auto shutoff, high resolution displays and a function to serve as a secondary computer monitor.
