Nextar will soon be selling repackaged versions of their N3-505 in KMart stores and online with fun castle or pumpkin carriage frames. These 3.5″ digital frames will go on sale at the end of July for $49.99, which isn’t too bad considering he plain version retails for the same price.

It’s not always about a large display panel and tons of features. For many, selecting a digital picture frame is a function of cost. Nextar appeals to this market with the N3-505, a 3.5″ digital frame with a bright 320×240 pixel display and 32MB of on-board memory, good for 50 images.

The Nextar N3-505 joins the 3.5″ digital frame party. Unlike HP’s effort that was unveiled at their media summit in Berlin, this unit is actually priced properly at $49.99. Nextar will be announcing a variety of new products over the coming months, but they’re starting with this little frame.
