Sony has introduced three new S-Frame digital photo frames featuring high-res LED screens and video playback capabilities along with a battery-operated model. The company also introduced eight new mainstream models.

The eStarling Impact7 is a 7” digital picture frame that is Wi-Fi enabled to view pictures from online sources, including email, RSS feeds, and social networking sites. For old-timers it still includes internal memory and a card slot for viewing pictures of your own. eStarling is a relatively new company, launching their first product in 2006, but they are here to stay with many new innovative products coming to the market.

eStarling has announced another new digital picture frame, this one being touted for its integrated Wi-Fi and video playback abilities. The 8″ ImpactV, V stands for video, features a standard aspect ratio 800×600 pixel display, 512MB of internal memory and multi-card reader, in addition to the Wi-Fi and video playback highlights.

Wi-Fi is a popular feature in high-end digital picture frames, but that generally means a price tag of near $200. The eStarling Impact7 aims to shake up the market by offering a wireless frame for such a low price. There is a compromise though, and in this case that’s the display, which only offers a 480×234 resolution.
