Cagic 8″ Digital Picture Frame Released

Cagic has released an 8″ digital frame that’s perhaps more about design than function. Before a feature is touted in the press release, they’re sure to note that it’s designed by a “European trained interior stylist.” And while the frame does look great, and it comes in three finishes, it does have some functionality under the hood as well, including dual SD card slots.
Cagic has also done something that we hope is good, they’ve developed the entire interface software on their own, which may indicate that the menu system could be better than everything else on the market, which is generally pretty poor.
Other interesting features include body construction using a solid brushed aluminum chassis and natural wood frame. Cagic also includes dual SD card slots, one is used for storage, the other for loading photos. The storage starts with an included 1GB SD card, but could conceivably be upgraded to any size by the user.
The frames will start shipping September 17th for $179.99 direct from Cagic.
