Toshiba has been selling digital picture frames in Europe for some time now, and they’ve just launched two more in their new oddly named JournE Air series. They both offer integrated WiFi and the 10″ widescreen JournE Air 1000 brings in Internet radio like the HP frame we’re waiting for.
As you’d expect, both units can stream photos from Flickr, Picasa or RSS feeds. From the multimedia side, the frames have integrated speakers and handle audio playback.
The JournE Air 1000 has 1GB of internal memory and comes with a remote control in addition to touch control functionality. It also offers Internet radio and 50 station presets. The smaller 8.4″ JournE Air 801 uses touch controls only and comes with a tiny 128MB of internal memory. The 801 is also set to include an extended desktop feature over USB, though it’s strange the bigger brother wouldn’t offer the same. Both toss in alarm clock and calendar options.
Release dates have not been set but the Toshiba JournE Air 1000 will sell for£169.99 ($237) and the JournE Air 801 will go for £139.99 ($196). There’s no reason to expect a US release however. [via Pocket-Lint]
