Meet the Digi-Mug – Insulated Coffee Mug With Digital Frame

Written on Feb 9, 2009 by Brian and filed under News

Every now and again we see digital picture frames embedded into objects that were otherwise okay without the added features. The Christmas ornament with tiny digital frame comes to mind. But this is especially odd, if for no other reason than coffee cups just shouldn’t have to be plugged into a computer for full functionality.

But if you must view your digital photos on a coffee mug, this one features a 1.5″ display and 1MB of internal memory that’s good for 50 resized photos. The display can also double as a digital or analog clock. If it works like the photo key chains, it connects to a PC for image transfer over USB, which also charges the internal battery. Oddly it also includes software for image management, but you probably don’t need it. The Digi-Mug as it’s called is available from UrbanTrend, though you have to contact them for pricing information. [via DVICE]
