Then I exchange it and now I have the same problem as Tyler it reset the date to 14/14/1914 I ask the same question what is the 14 month?? but mine I can't change the time not even for a second. Very disappointed.

I was given this frame as a gift. I love the picture part internal and external both have worked fine. But the clock is another issue must have set it 20 times in the last 2 weeks. Some times it works for 24 hours and will turn on and off. Other times it won't even change a minute, have given up. Think that there needs to be an on and off on the remote. Bought this frame for the clock feature so am very disappointed.

I bought one and it did not work - displayed negatives. Exchanged it for another and it did work showing pictures from external sources, but it would not copy from my PC. HP customer suport even sent me a file with firmware to reload, but after I did that, the frame stopped working completely. There are clearly software issues with this device, in addition to difficult controls.

Mine is even weirder, it resets the date to 14/14/1914 at 2:14PM (also 14:14) - why it cooked up a 14th month, I don't know. Now it won't ever shut off automatically because it is alway 2:14 PM! Sounds like this thing sucks all around.

When I connect the unit to my computer, a new drive letter is added with the description HP DF 1000. I was able to copy 50 images on it then it freezed. Since then I cannot copy a single file on it. I even tried on 3 other different computer.

I can see the drive, I calick on it I can see the files but when I try to copy or delete a file I always get the error unable to find the file ...
I not 100% sure if this is the message because Im using a french version Windows. Thanks

Reply to George Melnikoff: All of my images are edited in PS. (I'm a professional photographer; I shoot everything in RAW, and then process in PS.) I usually save in TIFF, and so I ran a few batch conversions to produce 800x600 JPGs from my images to load on this frame. They all work fine. By the way, by my calcuations, you can get about 4,000 800x600 JPGs onto the internal memory of this 512MB unit.

I just bought one of these for my wife for Christmas. We've had a problem with the clock/calender settings changing on their own, to weird times like a date in 1912. More importantly, we've mounted it to the wall, and it appears to be impossible to power the unit on/off when so mounted: the power and other buttons on the back of the unit are impossible to reach when wall-mounted, and there appears to be no power on/off function on the remote. I've just sent an inquiry to HP tech support to see what they have to say about this; if they have a solution, I'll come back and post it here.

Does the HPdf1000 accept PS edited jpeg images? If not, do you know of any digital picture frames that does so?

Thanks
