Asus has announced the UF735, 7″ digital frame with a unique feature, the frame doubles as a “mini monitor on your desk to show information updates such as messenger windows, gadget information, picture viewer, etc.”
The picture frame sports an 800×600 pixel display, support for CF/SD/MMC/MS/xD and USB memory, 128MB built-in RAM and integrated speakers. Of course the most interesting feature is the prospect of leveraging the display for more than just picture viewing.
Secondary Computer Monitor
The ASUS UFOTO UF735 has an exclusive “sub-display” function which allows users an option to utilize it as a secondary display for their PC or notebook for instance. This enables users to work on the main monitor; while still receiving updates like messenger windows on the UFOTO UF735. Asus promises other multifunction tools like a calendar and alert system.
